William F. Northcut Sr., age 74 of Centerline Road, Varysburg, passed away Thursday, August 21, 2025 at Charlotte House in North Java, surrounded by his loving family. Bill was born in Munford, Tennessee, November 18, 1950, a son of the late Eustice P. and Thelma M. Davis Northcut. He moved to New York at a young age with his family and graduated from North Tonawanda High School in 1969. Bill went on to attend Houghton / Buffalo College and later became an ordained minister. He worked for almost 20 years for the United States Postal Service as a rural letter carrier before retiring. Bill loved the Lord and his longtime membership at the Family Life Church in Warsaw was just a part of his dedication to his faith. Bill previously pastored at the former Varysburg Community Church for eight years as well as holding many ministry leadership roles and conducted home Bible Study's throughout the years. In addition to his faith, Bill loved the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting. Bill enjoyed his time with family and he absolutely adored his grandchildren and most recently his great granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by his sisters, Evelyn "Penny" Buske and Deborah Sparks.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 54 years, Terry J. Groll Northcut whom he married April 2, 1971. Additional survivors include his daughter, Joy (Jeff) Krajna of Lakewood, NY, a son, William Northcut Jr. of Varysburg, two brothers, Paul (Blossom) Northcut of Russellville, Arkansas, Richard (Tracy) Northcut of Marion, Arkansas, a sister, Trale (Keith) Mead of Marion, Arkansas, four grandchildren, Chase Boss, Mikaylen (Justin Morawski) Boss, Braiden Boss and Caleb Northcut, and a great granddaughter, Freya Belle Morawski.

A memorial service will be conducted by Pastor Chris Lonneville at the Family Life Church in Warsaw, NY on September 20th 2025 at 1pm.

Burial will be private in the Johnsonburg Cemetery arranged by Weeks Funeral Home 123 N. Main Street Warsaw, NY 14569. Please visit www.weeksfuneral.com to offer condolences.
