Willard J. Fisher, age 84, of Fisher Road, Warsaw, died Saturday, August 9th 2008 at the Wyoming County Community Hospital in Warsaw. He was born in Warsaw April 3rd 1924, the son of the late Samuel and Lillian (Armendinger) Fisher. Willard was lifetime resident of Warsaw and a member of Warsaw's United Methodist Church. Farming was his life as he owned his own dairy farm on Fisher road. He was best known for his rye sense of humor.
Willard is predeceased by his two Sisters; Dorothy Wilkie and Nellie Bassett, also a Brother Frank Fisher.
Survivors include 5 Nieces; Kathleen (Woody) Long of St. Cloud FL, Rebecca (James) Resslar of Derby, PA, Francis (Ken) Staton of St. Cloud, FL, Marlene Bassett of Silver Springs, NY, Beverly Bassett of Wheaton, MD. 3 Nephews David (Jean) Bassett of Silver Spring, MD, Douglas Bassett of Warsaw, and Roger (Debra) Bassett of Perry, as well as numerous Grand Nieces and Nephews also survive.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, August, 13th at 3pm in the Warsaw Cemetery with the Reverend Lauren Turner of Warsaw's United Methodist Church celebrating. Weeks Funeral Home 123 N. Main Street Warsaw is handling arrangements.
