Wilson, True Capwell, 100, of Clearwater, Florida passed away on August 17th. She was born in Warsaw on November 9th, 1908 and moved to Clearwater in 1956. The daughter of Dr. M. Jean and Charlotte (Capwell ) Wilson. She was a native of Warsaw until 1956.
True graduated from Warsaw High in 1925, received a B.A. degree from the University of Rochester in 1930 and a B.S. in Nursing from U. of R. in 1931.
She worked as an R.N. at Roosevelt Hospital from 1932-39 and Wyoming Co. Comm. Hospital from 1940-45. She also worked as school nurse at Warsaw Central School from 1945-1952.
She has been a member of the Faith United Church in Clearwater, D.A.R, Descendants of the Mayflower, N.A.A.C.P., and Chi Omega Fraternity.
She is survived by many cousins and friends in both New York and Florida.
Friends of True Wilson may attend her graveside service at the Warsaw Cemetery on Friday, August 21, 2009 at 1:00 PM. Services will be conducted at the cemetery with Pastor Dale Cuer of West Middlebury Baptist Church officiating. Arrangements made through WEEKS FUNERAL HOME, 123 N. Main Street, Warsaw.
