Timothy B. McGrath, age 68, of Warsaw, passed away, Friday, June 14, 2024 at Mercy Hospital in Buffalo. Tim was born in Warsaw, NY on April 28, 1956 to the late Kenneth and Ida Gillete McGrath. He was a 1974 graduate of Letchworth Central School, where he participated in Varsity Swim and Baseball. His love of sports carried through to his adulthood as he volunteered as coach for the little league baseball teams for which his children played. As an avid outdoorsman, Tim enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and camping with his family and friends throughout the years, creating many lasting memories. Known as an "all-around good guy", Tim made friends wherever he went, whether it was his time as an employee at Kittinger Furniture or Champion Products, or with his neighbors throughout the years in Hermitage, Bliss, Perry, and Warsaw. He cared deeply for his family and friends. Everyone he met loved him.
Tim was preceded in death by his sister Donna Leigh-Manuell, and his brothers, Kenneth McGrath, William McGrath, James McGrath, Dennis McGrath, and Edwin McGrath.
Survivors include his loving companions of almost 30 years, Sherri Spaich of Warsaw, three sons Casey McGrath of Perry, Corey (Alicen) McGrath of North Haledon, NJ, Cody McGrath of Orangeville, a daughter Cassidy (Zach) McGrath-Hutton of Kingwood, WV, a sister Lynn Veazey of Warsaw, a brother, Thomas McGrath of Hermitage, six grandchildren: Marly, Arlo, Tessa, Allie, Hudson, and Riley.
A celebration of Tim's life will be held in conjunction with his brother Edwin. Services will be held at the Chuck Hotchkiss Memorial Building in the Warsaw Village Park, Liberty Street on Saturday, July 13th, 2024 from 1-5pm. Weeks Funeral Home, 123 N.
