Obituary

Thomas M. Whaley Sr. age 79 of Pearl Creek, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family, Monday, January 6th 2020. Tom was born in Warsaw, January 4 th 1941, the son of the late Milton and Kathleen Foley Whaley. A 1959 graduate of Pavilion High School and lifetime resident of Pearl Creek, Tom worked for many years as a heavy equipment mechanic for PD Service and later George & Swede Co. both of Pavilion before his retirement in 2002. Tom was a quiet and dedicated family man who enjoyed motorcycle racing with his son. He was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Elizabeth Fay. Survivors include his loving wife of 52 years, Rosemary M. Barbeau whom he married on October 21 st 1967. Additional survivors include his two sons, Jay (Charise) Legg of Shore Acres, Texas, Thomas (Stephanie) Whaley Jr. of Holly Springs, North Carolina, three sisters, Nancy (Edward) Cutcliffe of Pavilion, Margaret Smith of Batavia, Linda Dirrks of Kansas City, Kansas, a brother, William (Sonia) Whaley of Pavilion, two grand daughters, a grandson, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family in the Pearl Creek Cemetery. Weeks Funeral Home 123. N. Main Street Warsaw has arrangements. Please visit www.weeksfuneral.com to offer condolences.
