Obituary

Thomas Boyd Conley, age 74, of Perry Center died suddenly, Tuesday, September 22, 2009 surrounded by his loving family at the Wyoming County Community Hospital in Warsaw. Thomas was born in Warsaw, July 22, 1935 the son of the late Dean A. and Grace E. Buckman Conley. He was a lifetime resident of Wyoming County and worked as an auto mechanic for over fifty years at Kelly Motors in Perry before retiring in 2001. He enjoyed camping with his family and raising his vegetable garden. Tom was a very creative man who was great at drawing and was good with his hands. No matter the time of the year, he always found time to cook out and enjoy his family. Tom is predeceased by his sister; Juanita Preston and three brothers; LaVerne (Ding), James and Ricky Conley. Survivors include his loving wife of 52 years Violet M. Akin Conley whom he married on June 29th 1957. Also surviving are two daughters; Marylou (Cris) Williamson of Rochester, Molly Bee Conley of Perry Center, and a son Timothy (Sandy Luther) Conley of Perry Center as well as several nieces and nephews. Friends of Thomas Conley may call on Thursday, September 24th from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the Weeks Funeral Home 123 N. Main Street Warsaw. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 10am on Friday Sept. 25th with Pastor Donald Vogel as celebrant. Burial will follow in the Prospect Hill Cemetery in Perry Center.
