Theresa J. Dearcop, age 66 of Alleghany Road, Corfu, passed away peacefully, Sunday, July 13, 2025 at Premier Genesee in Batavia. Born in Batavia, February 20th 1959, a daughter of the late Marvin and Nancy Mellanthen Talbot, Terry graduated from Byron- Bergen High School in 1978. She resided in Corfu since 2006 and previously Batavia. Terry worked for many years as a Metal Coating Specialist for Luster-Coate in Churchville. She enjoyed assembling puzzles, watching soap operas and collecting elephants. Terry had a strong opinion, resolve and sometimes a stubborn personality. Most of all, she loved her family and always put them ahead of herself.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Dearcup of Corfu, her sons, George (Callie) Greenman of Woodstock, GA, Charles Dearcop of Corfu, her daughters, Jenny (Gary) Smith of Warsaw, Crystal Greenman of Elba, NY, a step-daughter, Brittany Dearcup, her sisters, Kathleen (Cliff) Platek of Scottsville, Jeannine (Jody) Balon of Attica, her brothers, Marvin (Victoria) Talbot and Lanny Talbot both of Indiana, her grandchildren, Trevor and Karley Greenman, Kendall Smith, Autumn and Scarlett Greenman, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.

A time of memorial sharing will be held at the Weeks Funeral Home 123 N. Main Street Warsaw, NY 14569 on Tuesday, July 22, 2025 from 3pm to 5pm.
