Stephania "Stevie" Brown, age 83, of Griffen Rd., passed away Friday, December 11th, 2015 at the Wyoming County Community Hospital. She was born in Buffalo, October 8th, 1932, daughter of the late Adam and Sadie Meczynaka Grzeskowiak. A resident of Wyoming County since 1969, and previously of Buffalo, Stevie received an Associate's degree from St. Mary's Business School. She worked as a secretary for 20 years for Blue Cross of Western New York, continuing on to become the office manager of her husband and son's business, Brown Law Firm in West Seneca. Stevie was a member of Immanuel United Church of Christ in Attica. She was dedicated to her work and church family, and enjoyed walks and the nature of Wyoming County. Stevie loved traveling to Scotland to her late husband's family castle of which she participated in the restoration and administration of. She was predeceased by her husband, Gordon Brown, ESQ. Survivors include a son, Gordon Brown, ESQ. of Orangeville; a brother, Adam (Audrey) Grzeskowiak of Cheektowaga; a niece and 5 nephews. A graveside service was held 10am Saturday, December 12th, 2015 in the Quaker Settlement Cemetery with Reverend Elizabeth Meacham officiating.
