Shirley C. Wolcott, age 88, of Moravian Dr., passed away Sunday, December 25th, 2016 at the Hospice of Citrus County in Lecanto, FL. She was born in Bennington, NY, November 12th, 1928, daughter of the late Burnie and Alice Ward Spink. A resident of Florida since 1993, previously of Perry Center, NY, Shirley worked at the Warsaw Knitting Mill and was also a dedicated home maker. She enjoyed volunteering her time at the local hospital in Florida. Shirley was predeceased by her first husband, Carl J. Domnissey; her second husband, Basil Wolcott; 3 sons, Roger, Michael, and James Domnissey; a brother, Richard Spink; and a sister, Dorothy Search. Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Sandra Domnissey of Warsaw; 4 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and a dear friend, Valerie Bale of Crystal River, FL. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10am Tuesday, January 3rd, 2017 at St. Michael's Church with Father James Hartwell officiating. Burial will take place in St. Michael's cemetery.
