Shirley A. Moden, age 84, of North Main Street, died Tuesday, January 11th, 2011 at the Wyoming County Skilled Nursing Facility in Warsaw. She was born in Buffalo, NY, March 22nd, 1926, the daughter of the late George and Mildred Sager Moden. A resident of Wyoming County since 1965 and previously of Depew and Buffalo, Shirley was a devoted homemaker, a loving mother and dedicated grandmother. She enjoyed sewing and crocheting, playing Bingo, Yahtzee and Rummy. Shirley is predeceased by 1 grandchild, Kyle Geising; 1 great grandchild, Nicholas Geising; and 2 brothers, Sheldon and Robert Moden. Survivors include 5 sons, Kenneth (Donna) Geising of Port Charlotte, FL, Keith (Joyce) Geising of Bliss, Kevin (Sandra) Geising of Hume, Kirk (Roni) Geising of Pike and Kael Grant of Bergen; 1 daughter, Kimberly (Dana) Mills of Warsaw; a brother, Richard (Janet) Moden of Bliss; 2 sisters, Janet Heaps of North Tonawanda and Diane Marsh of Warsaw; 17 grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren. Friends of Shirley may call Saturday, January 22nd, 2011 from 11am to 3pm at the Weeks Funeral Home 123 N. Main Street, Warsaw. A memorial service will follow with Jack Marsh as celebrant. Burial will take place in the Smith Corners Cemetery at a later date.
