Obituary

Sharon Sereatha VanSon, age 66, of Livingston Street Warsaw, passed away peacefully, at home, surrounded by her loving family, Wednesday, May 27 th 2020 . Sharon was born in Olean, December 4 th 1953, the daughter of the late Maurice E. and Alberta E. N. Vaughn Baker. She was a 1972 graduate of Pavilion Central School and lifetime resident of Western New York. Sharon was a devoted home maker, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Attica but always had a strong Pentecostal Influence. She loved music and dancing, house flipping, knitting, crocheting, baking, cooking, gardening and antique collecting. Sharon was a strong woman who had influence throughout her extensive family.

Sharon was preceded in death by her husband; Clifford VanSon and a grandson; James Kososki Jr. and a brother Larry Baker.

Survivors include a son; Joseph E. (Michelle) Murch of Houghton, 2 daughters; Aimee Murch of West Seneca, Eva (Jim) Kososki Sr. of Warsaw, 3 step sons; Clifford "Scotty" (Janice) VanSon of Avon, Todd (Lesa) VanSon of Attica, Dondi (Penny) VanSon of Pavilion, 2 brothers; Jim Baker of Harrisville, Miss., Tim Baker of Hinsdale, NY, Her favorite sister; Lori (Steve) Ford of Redmond, OR, 14 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, numerous step-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Also surviving is her first husband and father of her children "Baby Daddy" Joseph G. Murch of Warsaw.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 2 nd at 12:30pm in the Forrest Hill Cemetery in Attica with Pastor Lauran Heidenreich of St. Paul's United Church of Christ as celebrant.
