Sharon D. Lomax, age 63, of Alwardt Road, Wyoming, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday, September 25th, 2010 at the Highland Hospital in Rochester. She was born in Warsaw, N.Y., May 7th, 1947 the daughter of Ronald and Leora Green Hopkins. Sharon was a lifetime resident of Wyoming County with her husband Glenn. A loving mother and wife, Sharon was a devoted member of Oatka Baptist Church where she played organ. She enjoyed playing the piano, gardening, embroidery, canning and could often be found selflessly donating her time to those in need. Sharon is survived by her husband, Glenn A. Lomax of Wyoming, Her Parents; Ronald (Leora) Hopkins of Attica, A Son; Todd (Kristy) Lomax of Portland, Oregon, A Daughter; Becky (John Proper) Lomax of Pike, A Brother; Larry (Kathy) Hopkins of Warsaw, A Sister; Faith (Bill) Cortwright of Wyoming, 5 Grandchildren; and many Nieces and Nephews. She is preceded in death by her brother, Richard Hopkins. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
