Sara J. Smith, age 45, of East Park Road, Castile, passed away suddenly, at home, Monday, January 17, 2022, with her loving husband by her side. Sara was born in Warsaw, October 18, 1976, a daughter of the late Richard Elwell and Linda Davis Grover of Perry. Sara was a lifetime resident of Perry, graduating from Perry Central in 1994 and going on to work in sales at Klein Steel in Rochester for 14 years. She then went on to open her own Daycare operating it since 2008 alongside her husband. Sarah loved vacationing in Jamaica, Aruba, and around the States. She enjoyed the water and was a terrific cook. Sara was very close to her many friends, in fact making friends with just about everyone she met.

Sara was preceded in death by her father in-law; Gary Smith and her brother in-law; Michael Smith.

Survivors include her beloved husband of 20 years; Mark S. Smith of Castile, her stepfather; Dana (Diane) Grover of Perry, two brothers; Jeffery and Brian Elwell both of Perry, two aunts; Carol Davis Tyler of Arizona, Donna Davis Wilhoite of Warsaw, an uncle; Mark "Monty" Davis of Warsaw, a very close friend and former wife of her father; Judy Elwell of Rochester, her mother in-law; Linda Smith of Perry, and several nieces and nephews.
