Salvatore "Sal" NiCastro, age 54 of Cook Road Pavilion passed away at home on Thursday, May 12, 2022. Sal was born in Dansville, New York a son of Salvatore J. NiCastro Sr. of Nunda and the late Delores Carmody NiCastro. A 1985 graduate of Keshequa Central School, Sal went on to work in the construction trades as a carpenter. Most recently, Sal worked for Classic Home Improvements in Batavia but he has worked for numerous companies in the region. He has resided in Pavilion since 1995 and previously in Mt. Morris. Sal enjoyed hunting and bowled in the leagues at the Letchworth Pines. He knew how to have a good time and was always up for a party. He had a great sense of humor and loved his family dearly. Sal was a simple man who seemed to make friends with anyone and was well liked by all. He is survived by his beloved wife of 29 years, Cheryl L. Bailey NiCastro, three sons, Cody (Courtney) NiCastro of Byron, Brandon NiCastro of Pavilion, Christopher NiCastro of Florida, a brother, Anthony (Linda) NiCastro of Mt. Morris, two nephews, Johnathan NiCastro of Rochester, and Timothy (Kerri) Clapper of Maine. There will be a private memorial for the family and Weeks Funeral Home 123 N.
