Ruthe D. Dring, age 94, of Main Street, Wyoming, died Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at her home. Daughter of Emil and Edith Pierson Carlson, Ruthe was a lifetime resident of Wyoming County. Ruthe graduated from Wyoming High School and was a postal clerk for the Wyoming post office for over 30 years. She also was a long time member of the First Presbyterian Church of Wyoming. Ruthe is survived by 1 daughter, Nancy Vallese of Batavia; her long time friend and caregiver, Mitzi Yauchzee of Wyoming; 6 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her loving husband Forest Dring; 1 daughter, G. Susan Dring; 1 half sister and 3 step-sisters. Friends of Ruthe may call from 10am to 12pm, Saturday, October 30th, 2010 at the Weeks Funeral Home 123 N. Main Street, Warsaw. A funeral service will follow with Pastor Carolyn Grohman of the First Presbyterian Church of Wyoming as celebrant. Burial will take place at a later date. Flowers are respectfully declined. Memorial contributions may be made in Ruthe's name to the First Presbyterian Church of Wyoming.
