Obituary

Rose M. Carguilo, age 88 of Linwood Ave. Warsaw passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, Friday, June 21 st 2019 at the Wyoming County Skilled Nursing Facility. Rose was born in Pearl Creek, November 29 th 1930, the daughter of the late Salvatore and Rosa Colletti D'Angelo. A lifetime resident of Wyoming County, Rose worked as an assembler at Mallory Timers but enjoyed spending time with family, friends and reading. She also worked as the head book keeper for Wyoming County Bank in Warsaw.

Rose was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony J. Carguilo, her brothers, Joseph, Tony, Samuel, Thomas and Marius and sisters Josephine Yaquinto, Tina Vernaccini, and Teresa D'Angelo.

Survivors include her daughter, Linda (James Sr.) Macaluso of LeRoy, two grandchildren, James Jr. and Anthony Macaluso both of LeRoy.

her sister, Lena Donovan of Batavia her sister in-law Velma D'Angelo of Warsaw, several nieces and nephews and numerous friends survive.

Friends of Rose may call on Wednesday, June 26 th from 5-8pm preceded by a vigil service at the Weeks Funeral Home 123 N. Main Street Warsaw.

A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Father Michael LaMarca at 10am, Thursday, June 27 th at St. Michael's Church in Warsaw. Burial will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery in Warsaw.
