Ronald L. Taylor, age 68, of Wiscoy Rd., passed away Tuesday, January 10th, 2012 at the Wyoming County Community Hospital in Warsaw. He was born in Jamestown, January 3rd, 1944, the son of Lyman and June Reader Taylor. A resident of Western New York for 25 years and previously of Arizona, Ronald worked at the Wyoming County Speedway for 15 years and had owned his own plumbing business in Arizona, Ace's Scooter Rooter. He loved his dogs, working on cars, NASCAR (especially #88 Dale Jarret), riding dirt bikes, and was very proud of his family. Ronald also served his country with the United States Navy from 1962 to 1963. He was predeceased by a sister, Karen Sullivan. Survivors include a daughter, Leisly Jordan of Perry; a son, Clinton Browne of Gainesville; 2 sisters, Jennifer (Grant) Shattuck of Pike and Laurel Lee of Silver Springs; and 4 grandchildren. Friends of Ronald may call Monday, January 16th, 2012 from 10am to 11am at the Mt. Zion Tabernacle, 5503 Broughton Rd. Silver Springs. A funeral service will be held following visitation with Pastor Jay Bailey as celebrant. Burial will be private in Elmwood Cemetery.
