Roger W. Bailey Sr. age 71 of Warsaw, died Wednesday, Feb. 18th 2009 at the Wyoming County Community Hospital in Warsaw. He was born in Portageville, April 9th 1937 the son of Ernest C. and Vivian O. (Wood) Bailey. Roger was a lifetime resident of the area and drove truck for Palmer Farms in Holland for several years. He enjoyed Fishing, watching wrestling on TV and reading Louis Lamour Westerns. He was predeceased by a Brother; Leslie Bailey, and 3 Sisters; Alma Fusco, Ernestine Covert, and June Sonrecker. Survivors include his loving wife of 51 years; Carole J. (Robinson) Bailey, 3 Sons; Roger (fiancé, Suzie Gonzales) Bailey Jr. of Lancaster, Kenneth (Brenda) Smith of Gainesville, Jerald (Laura) Bailey of Murphysboro, TN, 2 Brothers; Royal Bailey of Silver Springs and Myron Bailey of Medina, 2 Sisters; Lucille Rafferty of Houghton, and Lena Stangrover of Cowlesville. 6 Grandchildren and 3 Great-Grandchildren also survive as well as several nieces and nephews. A private memorial will be held at a later date and burial will take place in the Union Park Cemetery in Wethersfield Springs. Weeks Funeral Home 123 N. Main Street Warsaw has arrangements.
