Robert J. Reber age 83, of West Avenue Brockport passed away peacefully, Monday, May 5th 2025 at the Rochester Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing. Bob was born in Rochester, October 30th 1941 a son of the late Joseph and Cordelia Reber. He was a lifetime resident of the Rochester area to include Gates and more recently Brockport. After graduating from high school, Bob joined the United States Navy, serving honorably on the "LST Grant County" from 1963 to 1966 earning the rank of DK3 / E-4. Bob returned home to work as a bank manager for various local banks and most recently, Citizens Bank from where he retired in 1998. Bob was a member of St. Pius Church in Rochester. He enjoyed all forms of card playing, especially Euchre and UNO. He loved fishing and baseball but was a "Die hard Bills Fan".
Bob was preceded in death by a brother James Reber.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 47 years, Betty Marie Fields Reber of Brockport, his God-son, William (Bobbie-Jo) Winspear of Arcade, a God-daughter, Jennifer (Tim) Betts of Florida, and a sister, Kathy (Frank) Bauer of Lake Tahoe, and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted by the Wyoming County American Legion with full honors in the Glenwood Cemetery in Perry at 11am, Friday, May 9th 2025. Weeks Funeral Home 123 N.
