Robert S. Magee, age 64, of Rte. 20A, Orangeville, passed away Wednesday, September 11th, 2013 at St. David's Hospital in Georgetown, TX. He was born in Saugerties, NY, September 5th, 1949, son of Joyce O'Bryon of Rhinebeck, NY and the late Robert C. Magee. A resident of Orangeville since 1981, Robert worked as a Physician's Assistant at the Attica Correctional Facility for 35 years before retiring in 2007. He was a devoted father, grandfather, generous and caring man; willing to open his heart and home to many children who then became his family. Robert enjoyed working in his yard and garden, traveling to see family, playing cards, going to the movies and out to dinner, and his dogs. He served his country honorably with the United States Navy from 1969 to 1973 and was a member of the Walter Klein American Legion post #532. Robert is survived by his beloved, Mary Magee of Round Rock, TX; a daughter, Jennifer (Josh Bennett) Magee of Round Rock, TX , 7 sons; Gene (Janet) Sutay of Round Rock, TX, Todd (Sarah) Sutay of Warsaw, Robert (Angela) Magee of Marilla, Andrew Magee of Orangeville, Sean Magee of Round Rock, TX, Thomas Magee of Orangeville, and Frank (Ashley) Biondo of Leicester; a brother, Richard (Sandy) Magee of Rhinebeck; 2 sisters, Regina Magee of Washington and Roberta Magee of Rhinebeck; 9 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Friends of Robert may call Wednesday, September 18th, 2013 from 7pm to 9pm at the Weeks Funeral Home 123 N. Main St., Warsaw. An American Legion Services will be held at 6:45pm before calling hours. A graveside service will be held Thursday, September 19th, 11am at the Orangeville Center Cemetery, Orangeville with Chaplain Francis Head of Walter Klein American Legion post #532 as celebrant where full military honors will be rendered.
