Robert E. Macagney, age 88, formerly of West Court Street and currently Patrick Place Warsaw, passed away, Friday, March 5 ^th 2021 at the Hildebrandt Hospice Center in Rochester. Bob was born in Albany, New York, October 29 ^th 1932, a son of the late John A. and Helen B. Casey Macagney. Bob served our country honorably in the United States Navy from 1952 -1956 on a Boiler Tender. Upon returning from the Navy, Bob went to work for Eastern Airlines, in New Jersey and Florida, as an aircraft mechanic, retiring in 1989 after 29 years. Bob moved to Warsaw in 1989 and could be seen walking throughout the village, rain or shine. He was a member of Walter Klein Post #532 of the American Legion and Saint Michael's Church both in Warsaw. Bob enjoyed game shows, and helping out the local stroke support group in Warsaw.

He was preceded in death by his brother; John Macagney and his sisters; Mary Diamond and Helen Fox.

Survivors include loving wife of 40 years; Jean M. Ricker Macagney, his two daughters; Lee (Steven) Storms, and Susan (Sam) Prinzi both of Warsaw, five grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, 1 great great granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.

A mass of Christian burial will follow at St. Michael's Church at 11am, celebrated by Father Michael LaMarca, concluded outdoors with full military honors.
