Robert Leigh Fox (April 21, 1934 - August 5, 2026)

Robert L. Fox, 92, of Pavilion, passed on Wednesday, August 5th at the Leroy Village Green, surrounded by his loving family.

He was Born April 21, 1934 in Warsaw, NY and grew up in Nunda. He had a strong work ethic and began working right out of school, running several successful businesses in his younger years. He was a man of many skills and was well respected by everyone he met. In his free time he enjoyed traveling, watching tractor pulls, hunting and fishing. He was an active member of the OB club, SCOPE, and Civilian Conservation Corp. After retiring, he enjoyed spending winters in Florida, fishing and visiting with friends. He was as stubborn as they come, with a tough exterior and a softer side that he let peak through on special occasions.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Donna Mattice Fox; a brother David Fox; 10 children; Jean Kruetter, Kathy (Sean) Gallivan, Marcia Fox, Denise (Dave) Sprague, Diane (James) Cleveland, Yvonne Fox, Bill (Anne) Fox, Jeff Fox, Robert Fox, Doug (Kim) Elliott, and 26 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, and a great-great grandson.

He is predeceased by his parents, Lorma Schenck and Robert Fox Sr; sister, Marjorie Fox ; daughter Susan Zingerella, son, Gregory Elliott, son-in-law John Kreutter; grandchildren, Craig Hirsch, Joshua Hirsch, Kerry Zingerella; and great-granddaughter Caroline Welch.

Family and friends may call on Sunday, August 16th from 12 - 3, at Weeks Funeral Home, 123 North Main Street, Warsaw, NY 14569, with a service by DR (Don Roblee) immediately following at 3 p.m.. A private burial will be held at the Pavilion Cemetery for the family.
