Robert J. Acker, age 47 of North Academy Street Wyoming, passed away suddenly, Saturday, April 12, 2025 at the Wyoming County Community Hospital in Warsaw. Rob was a beloved husband, son and dear friend. He was born in Warsaw, May 11, 1977 a son of the late Harley Acker and Diane Mower Deel of Pavilion. Rob was a 1997 graduate of Warsaw Central School and he went on to work at Baltz Concrete in Pavilion for 14 years. After leaving Baltz, Rob went to work for the Rochester Carpenter's Union Local # 276 where he worked at Manning Squires and Henning.

Rob enjoyed going on vacations, boating, golfing, fishing and spending time with friends. Rob was inseparable from his beloved wife Mary and his dog Ted. He had a great sense of humor and was dripping with sarcasm.

Rob was preceded by a step-sister, Sherri Dietrich and a brother Brandon Acker, and cousin and best friend Andrew Mower Jr.

Surviving is his wife and best friend of 24 years, Mary Anne J. Smith Acker whom he married July 1st 2009. Also surviving are his step sister, Terri (Daniel) Sills of Canisteo, a step brother, Ronald Acker of California, his mother in-law, Susan (Darrell Burgess) Wilson of Attica, Father in-law, Dean (Tracy) Smith of Alexander, 3 brother in-laws, JD (Taylor) Bissell of Walton, NY, Eric Bauer-Smith and Christopher Bauer-Smith both of Batavia, a niece Brianna Acker of Tampa, FL, and a nephew, Jayden Acker of Belmont.
