Richard F. "Dick" Boris age 81 of Gainesville, passed peacefully, Monday, April 28, 2025 at Buffalo General Hospital. Dick was born in Rochester, December 12, 1943 a son of the late Frank and Margaret Boris. After graduating high school, Dick went on to earn a BS in Mathematics from the University of Buffalo. He taught for several years before becoming a Grocery Manager for various stores in the region to include Warsaw's Big M, The Perry Marketplace and most recently before his retirement, Save-A-Lot in Yorkshire. Dick was a dedicated Buffalo Bills fan who also enjoyed puzzles of all kinds and bird watching. Dick had a dry sense of humor and he "Loved to Bust Chops".

Besides his parents, Dick was preceded in death by "The Love of His Life", Hazelyne "Lyne" Hall Boris whom he married April 6, 1968.

Survivors include a dear friend and caregiver, Carol Staffehl of Bliss, his dog, Coach his cat, Levita and many acquaintances, neighbors, colleagues, and friends.
