Bliss-
Rhonda J. Hurlburt, age 55, of School St., Bliss, passed away Thursday, October 25th, 2012 at the East Side Nursing Facility in Warsaw. She was born in Warsaw, October 6th, 1957, the daughter of the late George and Violet Buckley Green. A Lifetime resident of Wyoming County, 1975 graduate of Letchworth High School, and graduate of Buffalo State University, Rhonda worked as a driver and secretary for SASi in Yorkshire, NY. She was a very dedicated member of the Women's Auxiliary, American Legion Post #1720 in Bliss where she was a past vice president. Rhonda was also President of the Lyonsburg Cemetery Association to which she devoted much of her time. She is survived by 2 sons, Brandon (Danielle) Hurlburt of Eagle and Ryan (Angela Wagner) Hurlburt of Bliss; a sister, Deborah (Dick) Williams of Chambersburg, PA; a grandson, Caleb Hurlburt of Eagle; and dear friend Vickie (Steve) Williams of Marion, NY. A time of remembrance will be held at the Bliss American Legion Post #1720 on November 17th from 1-4pm. Burial will take place in the Lyonsburg Cemetery.
