Pearl F. Woodworth, age 93, formerly of Bowen Ave. Gainesville, died Thursday, October 8th 2015 at the Wyoming County Skilled Nursing Facility in Warsaw. Pearl was born in Dale, New York, June 20th 1922, the daughter of the late Jacob and Emma Schoeflier-Satter. A lifetime resident of Gainesville, Pearl was a very special homemaker, mother and grandmother. Pearl dedicated her life in providing care for her son Harry. A happy and loving woman, her faith was her guiding light. Pearl will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 73 years, Harry E. Woodworth Sr., two sons; Harry Jr. in 2012 and Daniel Sr. in 2005, three sisters; Marian Flannigan, Reva Phillips, Florence Christie and a brother; Melvin Satter.
Survivors include a son; Ronald (Diane) Woodworth of Florida, a daughter in-law Vanessa Heckman of Jasper, NY, six grandchildren Stephanie Woodworth of Rochester, Carolee (Joel) Tucker II, of Warsaw, Rebecca (Christopher) Coral of Pavilion, Daniel Woodworth Jr. Of Jasper, NY, Phillip Woodworth of Colorado, Karen Woodworth of Georgia, and eleven great grandchildren as well as numerous loving and close nieces and nephews.
Friends of Pearl Woodworth may call on Monday, October 12th from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the Weeks Funeral Home 123 N. Main Street Warsaw where funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 13th at 10am with Rev. Paul Phillips of Central Baptist Church of Yorkshire officiating. Burial will follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery in Gainesville. Memorial contributions are requested to the Gainesville Rescue Squad at PO Box 353 Gainesville, NY 14066.
