Pearl F. Smith, age 94, of Bennett Rd., Cheektowaga passed away Sunday, September 16th, 2012 at Elderwood Health Care at Maplewood in Cheektowaga. She was born in McKees Rocks, PA, November 2nd, 1917, the daughter of the late John and Anna Kalaba Fedisson. A resident of Elmira until 1970, and then of Florida, Pearl was a loving mother and dedicated home maker. Pearl enjoyed reading, gardening, sewing and travel. She was predeceased by her husband, Walter Smith; and 2 sisters, Mary Robinson and Helen Salino. Survivors include a daughter, Nancy Smith of West Seneca; a son, Richard Smith of Royal Palm Beach, Florida; and a granddaughter, Nicole (Ryan) Anglin and two great grandchildren; Justin and Danielle Anglin all of Boyton Beach, Florida. There are no prior calling hours and burial will take place privately in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Elmira, NY.
