Paul G. Zawadzki, age 74, of Wing Street Bliss, passed away Friday, December 27, 2024, surrounded by his loving family, at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. Paul was born in Warsaw, September 27, 1950, a son of the late Joseph and Irene Pytko Zawadzki. He was a 1968 graduate of Letchworth Central School. Paul went to work for the New York State Department of Corrections in Attica in 1975 and retired in 2004 from Groveland Correctional. Paul was a true outdoors-man and loved hunting and fishing but his passion was elk hunting in Colorado and New Mexico. He was definitely a handyman and enjoyed planting the fields and gardening. He was a great cook and his family looked forward to his barbecues and homemade jerky. He will be missed. Paul was dedicated to his family. He is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Annette L. Schillaci Zawadzki whom he married on August 23, 1981. Also surviving are his two daughters, Angela (Phil) Rogers of Marietta, GA, Wanda Zawadzki of Fairport, his three sons, Seth Zawadzki of Attica, Wade (Lydia) Zawadzki of Geneseo, Bret (Chelsey) Zawadzki of Fairport, two brothers, Joe (Becky Nau) Zawadzki of Livonia and Florida, Tim (Linda) Zawadzki of Ft. Collins, CO, three sisters, Judy (Richard) Brooks of Georgia, Chris Broughton and Liz (Terry) Wixson both of Castile, 9 grandchildren, a great grandson and several nieces and nephews.
