Paul C. Campbell, age 83, of East Mill Street, Gainesville passed away Tuesday, November 29th, 2016 at the East Side Nursing Home in Warsaw. He was born in Batavia, January 20th, 1933, son of the late Henry R. and Mable F. Neth Campbell. A lifetime resident of Gainesville, and 1951 graduate of Wyoming Central School, Paul worked in foundry and later in inspection for Westinghouse in Attica for 30 years from where he retired in 1986. He was a member of the Warsaw-Gainesville Travelers Club and past member of the Gainesville Fire Department. Paul loved to bowl, was a Buffalo Bills and Sabres fan, and was a dedicated husband and father who was very proud of his family. He served his country honorably on active duty with United States Marines from 1951 to 1954 with a year in Korea and then 5 years reserve. Paul was predeceased by a son, Paul C. Campbell Jr. and a brother, Patrick Campbell. Survivors include his loving wife of 61 years, Patricia Ann Hively Campbell of Gainesville; 3 daughters, Debora (Ron) Krzemien of Castile, Susan (Edward Conroy) Klump of Castile, and Sandra (Tom) Durfee of Warsaw; 3 sons, Bradley (Judy) Campbell of Florida, Steven (Lana) Campbell of Pike, and Jeffrey (Melissa Rycroft) Campbell of Muncy, PA; 2 brothers, Douglas (Sharon) Campbell of Pearl Creek, and Michael (Ann) Campbell of Pavilion; 4 sisters, Virginia Gayton of East Bethany, Marilyn Rider of Wyoming, Bonnie (Clarence) Winspear of Virginia and Henrietta (Jim) Martin of Florida; 11 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Friends of Paul may call from 10am to noon Friday, December 2nd, 2016 at the Weeks Funeral Home 123 N. Main St., Warsaw. A memorial service will be held at noon, following calling hours where military honors will be rendered. Burial will take place privately in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Gainesville.
