Brayley, Paul A. Sr.

Paul A. Brayley Sr., age 69 of Transit Road Wyoming passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at the United Memorial Medical Center in Batavia. He was born in Batavia, November 8, 1954 to the late Erferd and Ethel Warfield Brayley. Paul and his siblings were raised by the late Dorothy and Fred Hackett. Paul resided in Wyoming since 2005 and previously in Pavilion. He worked at Darien Lake Theme park as a groundskeeper and later at SUNY Geneseo for 15 years doing the same before his retirement in 2019. He was a great gardener and enjoyed hunting and fishing in his younger years. Paul was a dedicated family man and all around easy going guy. Everyone will remember his terrific smile and deep blue eyes. He served his community in both the York and Pavilion Fire Departments acting as Fire Police for both over the years.

Paul was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Brayley.

Survivors include his loving companion, Gynnea Graves of Wyoming, four sons, Shawn (Amanda) Brayley of Orlando, FL, Michael Brayley of Wyoming, NY, Paul Brayley Jr. of Stafford, NY, Carlsson Graves of Wyoming, NY, a daughter, Carol Graves of Wyoming, NY, two brothers, Carl Brayley of Pennsylvania, and John Brayley of Florida, two sisters, Joyce (Doug) Logsdon of Pavilion, NY, Mary (Randy) Graham of Perry, NY, five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Friends of Paul A. Brayley Sr. may call on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 from 4-6 pm at the Weeks Funeral Home 123 N. Main Street Warsaw, NY 14569. Services will be private for the family.
