Patricia R. Bolland, age 87 of Linwood Ave., passed away Tuesday, December 26th, 2017, at the Wyoming County Skilled Nursing Facility. She was born in Newport News, VA, September 15th, 1930, daughter of the late Richard and Maggie Hopkins Hall. A resident of Wyoming County for over 50 years, and attendee of Roberts Wesleyan College, Patricia was a dedicated home maker. She was a member of Valley Chapel in Warsaw, and was a foster grandparent through Warsaw Central School for 17 years where she was known as "Grandma Pat". She also volunteered her time teaching people to read through Literacy West. Patricia enjoyed playing scrabble and sewing, and was dedicated to her family. She was a thrifty woman who could make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. She was predeceased by her husband, Paul E. Bolland in 1994; 2 brothers, Virgil "Bud" Hall and Sydney Hall; and 2 sisters, Sylvia Vanscoy and Margaret Cyrus. Survivors include 2 sons, Jon (Jeanine) Bolland of Dale and Jay Bolland of Avondale, AZ; a daughter, Jean Smith of Kenmore; a brother, Richard (Debbie) Hall of Oklahoma; a sister, Claudia (Dan) Colicchio of Ohio; 10 grandchildren, Jaime Bolland, Gabe Bolland, Duane Carlson, Danae Kylander, Dia Lawrence, Gaelen Bolland, Kayla Cook, James Wilkinson, Jessica Otis, and Jennifer Kraft; 20 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 11am, Saturday, January 6th, 2018 at the Valley Chapel, 3415 NY-19, Warsaw, NY 14569 with Pastor Todd Daningburg officiating.
