Patricia A. Benedict, age 91, of Brooklyn Street Warsaw, passed away peacefully, at home, Thursday, February 9, 2023. Patricia was born in Warsaw, November 8, 1931 a daughter of the late Harry and Gladys Merchant Hoyt. A lifetime resident of Warsaw, Pat graduated from Warsaw Central School in 1949. Pat worked for 20 years before her retirement in 2003 as an Assistant Manager at the Bank of Castile in Warsaw. She was also the bookkeeper for her husband's garage in Warsaw for many years. Pat enjoyed reading, and watching old Westerns on Television. She also enjoyed computer gaming, especially Solitaire. She had a special place in her heart for her beloved Yorkie "Milo".

Pat was preceded in death by husband James A. Benedict in 1985, 5 sisters, Barbara Redden, Rene Schak, Betty Baker, Beverly Williams, Marie Kennedy, 3 brothers, Harry, Carl and Rodney Hoyt.

Survivors include her 2 sons, James "Chip" (Karen L.) Benedict and Bradley "Scott" (Karen A.) Benedict both of Warsaw, 3 grandchildren, Michael Benedict of Warsaw, Kimberly Ackley of Warsaw, Rick (Kim) Ackley of Elma, 5 great grandchildren and a great great grandson as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family and burial will take place in the Warsaw Cemetery. Weeks Funeral Home 123 N. Main Street Warsaw, NY 14569 has arrangements.
