Norma Mae Elwood, age 77, of North Main St., passed away Monday, March 11th, 2013 at the Wyoming County Skilled Nursing Facility in Warsaw. She was born in Warsaw, January 24th, 1936, daughter of the late Onias and Florence Clute Elwood. A lifetime resident of Warsaw, Norma was a dedicated home maker who enjoyed knitting, classic movies, crossword puzzles, and was known as a fun loving person. She was predeceased by a brother, Charles D. Elwood and a sister, Mary Bigelow. Survivors include a sister, Helen Durfee of Melbourne, FL; 4 nieces, Vicky (John) Rykert and Julie (Steele) Cook, both of Attica and Loretta (William) Leahy and Jessica (Brody) Padgett, both of Melbourne, FL; several additional nieces and nephews; and a beloved friend, Lillian Beresh. Memorial calling hours and service will be held at a later date. Burial will take place in the Warsaw Cemetery.
