Nancy J. Stefaniak, age 68 of Route 19 Rock Glen, passed away peacefully, Friday November 24th 2023, at Roswell Park Cancer Institute surrounded by her loving family. Nancy was born in Buffalo, September 24th 1955 a daughter of the late Alfred and Helen Sienkiewicz Hartwig. Nancy graduated from West Seneca High School in 1973 and became a loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. She was a terrific baker and cook. Her family loved her homemade polish sausage and pierogi during the holiday seasons. Nancy enjoyed crafting, sewing and gardening. She loved to take care of her own yard including the mowing. For several years she enjoyed snow-birding to Florida and spending time on the beach with her beloved husband, Dennis Stefaniak whom she married August 20, 1976.

Nancy was preceded in death by her sister, Terry Thiel.

Additional survivors include a daughter, Sarah (Jason) Hogle of Moorsville, North Carolina, a son, Gregory (Kathryn Shearing) Stefaniak of Rock Glen, three sisters, Susan Hoover of Tyrone, PA, Carol (Mark) Heinl of Gainesville, Wendy (Ron) Dowdle of Little Valley, three grandchildren, Aidan and Avery Stefaniak and Jacob Hogle as well as several nieces and nephews.
