Nancy Bellaire, age 83, of Tower Rd. passed away Monday, October 1 ^st , 2018 at her home in Wyoming. She was born in Warsaw, September 9 ^th , 1935, daughter of the late Lester and Maude Hill Wilcox. A resident of Wyoming since 1980, and 1953 graduate of Warsaw Central, Nancy earned her B.A. from Binghamton Bible College, and a Masters degree in Education from SUNY Cortland. She taught for 3 years in Binghamton, and then for 20 years at Hilton Elementary in Hilton from where she retired in 1987. She moved on to work as a Department Supervisor for Walmart for 20 years, retiring in 2016. Nancy was a past member of Warsaw Baptist Church, and enjoyed reading, watching old western shows, and was a Red Sox fan. She was the best friend, and love of her husband Howard's life. Nancy was predeceased by 4 brothers, Clifford, Harold, Norman, and Stuart Wilcox; a sister, Betty Atkins; and a brother-in-law, Robert Bellaire. Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Howard E. Bellaire Jr. whom she married February 2 ^nd , 1963; a son, Daniel (Bhavna) Bellaire of San Jose, CA; 2 daughters, Debra Bellaire of Warsaw and Cheryl (Steve) Klien of Wyoming; 2 brothers-in-law, Donald Bellaire Sr. of Warsaw and David Bellaire of Phoenix, AZ; 7 grandchildren, Anjali and Jacob Bellaire, Tylor and Cassidy Klien, Phil LaFreniere Jr., and Karleigh and Michael Owens; 1 great grandchild, LeaNova LaFreniere; and several nieces and nephews. Friends of Nancy may call from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm Thursday, October 4 ^th , 2018 at the Weeks Funeral Home 123 N. Main St. Warsaw. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home 11am Friday, October 5 ^th , 2018 with burial to follow in the Wyoming Cemetery.
