Myrtle "Marie" M. Dresser, age 85, of Patrick Place, Warsaw passed away Thursday, January 31st, 2013 at the Wyoming County Community Hospital. She was born in Buffalo, September 22nd, 1927, daughter of the late Alfred and Elizabeth Howard Waters. A resident of Wyoming County for the past 4 years, and previously of Honeoye Falls, Marie was a dedicated and loving home maker. She attended Lima Baptist Church while in Honeoye Falls and enjoyed traveling to Arizona, crocheting, puzzles and games. Marie was known for her great sense of humor, her spunky attitude, and her love of time with her grand and great grand children. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Erwin F. Dresser; a daughter, Shirley Dresser; a sister, Millie Owens; and a brother, Maurice Waters. Survivors include 2 daughters, Karen (Michael) Lacey of Wyoming and Nancy (Dale) Haubert of Lima; 3 sisters, Ann Coia of Springville, Betty Smith of PA and Wini King of NC; 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren. Friends of Marie may call Monday, February 4th, 2013 from 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm at the Weeks Funeral Home 123 N. Main St. Warsaw, NY 14569. A memorial service will be held 10am, Tuesday, February 5th, at the funeral home with Pastor Michael Maloney of the Lima Baptist Church as officiant. Burial will follow privately in the Honeoye Falls Cemetery, Honeoye Falls. Memorial contributions may be made in Marie's name to Homecare and Hospice at 550 East Main St. Batavia, NY 14020
