Muriel D. Jennings, age 82, formerly of Silver Springs, passed away Friday, January 6th, 2012 at the Highlands at Brighton. She was born November 29th, 1929 in Pike, New York, the daughter of the late Gordon M. and Doris Patridge Davis. A 1947 graduate of Letchworth Central School and attendee of Cortland State Teachers College, Muriel worked as a telephone operator at the Perry branch of the Rochester Telephone Company. Muriel was a member of the Silver Springs United Methodist Church and a dedicated homemaker who loved to spend time with her family. She is predeceased by her loving husband, Albert Jennings whom she married in 1955. Survivors include a daughter, Elizabeth Davis of Portales, New Mexico; and 2 brothers, Gordon Davis of Rochester and Dale (Audrey) Davis of Portales, New Mexico. Friends of Muriel may call from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm, Friday, January 13th at the Weeks Funeral Home 123 N. Main Street, Warsaw. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home, 11am Saturday, January 14th, with Pastor Lauren Turner as celebrant. Burial will take place privately in the Lyonsburg Cemetery.
