Mildred I. Whaley, age 75, of Hudson Rd., Wyoming, passed away Friday, November 30th, 2012 at the Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Bergen, April 14th, 1937, the daughter of the late Ralph and Mildred Smith Bater. A lifetime resident of the Wyoming-Pavilion area, Isabelle worked as a dedicated and caring home maker who loved taking care of her family. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, doing word searches, and was known especially for her baking and cooking. Isabelle was predeceased by a son, David Whaley who passed away November 20th, 1989, 3 brothers, and 7 sisters. Survivors include her loving husband of 57 years, Willis "Robert" Whaley of Wyoming; 2 sons, Steven (Nancy) Whaley of Locke, NY and Douglas (Patricia) Whaley of Perry; a daughter, Pamela Koska of Wyoming; 2 brothers, Carl (Rosemary) Bater of Byron and Robert (Mary) Bater of Westford, MA; 2 sisters, Dorothy (Daniel) Flanigan of Georgia and June (Nelson) Ralston of Bradenton, FL; 8 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Friend of Isabelle may call from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm, Tuesday, December 4th, 2012 at the Weeks Funeral Home 123 N. Main St., Warsaw. A funeral service will be held at 11am, Wednesday, December 5th, with Pastor Christopher Wylie of the Pavilion United Methodist Church as officiant. Burial will follow in Mt. Ash Cemetery, Covington.
