Lord Michael W. Brown, aged 58 of Covington, passed away during the early hours of Monday, April 21, 2025 at Wyoming County Community Hospital. He was born in Syracuse, New York on September 12, 1966 to Wayne T. Brown (deceased) and Kathleen A. Dennie (deceased). Before his death, Mike enjoyed spending time with his best napping buddies, Opie and Morty (cats), and Hecklefish Moriarty (plushie).

Lord Michael came unto nobility after purchasing one square foot of Scottish land in an attempt to get Tricia, the love of his life, to marry him. He proved to her that the purchase was legit and would make her a "Lady of the Highlands" if she were to join him in wedded bliss. It was only after promising her the stars (which could also be purchased out of the back of a magazine) that she finally said, "Yes!"

Michael graduated from SUNY Morrisville with an AAS in Electrical Engineering Technology, and SUNY Institute of Technology with a BS in Electrical Engineering. It was at these colleges that he had the opportunity to learn Computer Science, which lead to a successful career in Information Technology. Before he retired, Mike was employed as an EIDS Operations Manager for the Health Systems Administration in Washington, DC. Juvenile Diabetes prevented Mike from becoming an enlisted serviceman, but he was very proud to have been able to serve his country as a civilian.

Lord Michael is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Lady Patricia A. Brown (nee Catlin), his "jacked" son, Anthony M. Brown, and his stepmother, Shirley A. Brown of Bridgeport, New York. Michael was an expert in sibling torture techniques taught to him by his older brothers, Roy "Kippy" Brown (deceased), Timmy Brown, Bobby Brown, Donny Brown, Wayne "Butch" Brown, Jr., and David Brown (deceased). He practiced them (which included "thwacking") on his younger brothers, Kevin Brown (Theresa), Steven Brown (Kailey), and stepbrother, Danny Fenner. Mike is survived by two lovely sisters, Charlene Wisnewski and Amy Fenner, as well as NUMEROUS nieces and nephews. (Browns sure are good at making babies!)
