Obituary

Mary M. Scharet, age 63, of North Street, Warsaw passed away peacefully, Saturday, July 31 st 2021 at the Wyoming County Community Hospital. Mary was born in Rochester, October 12 th 1957, a daughter of the late Thomas A. Scharet and Eileen "Bonnie" Wass of Warsaw. Mary graduated from Letchworth Central School in 1976 and went on to learn food service preparation at BOCES. Mary resided in Perry, Silver Springs, Castile, and Warsaw since 2000. She worked for many years as a packer at Fairview Paper Box Factory in Warsaw. Mary attended Warsaw's First United Methodist Church and enjoyed doing "Circle Words". She loved spending time with all of her family especially her sons and grandchildren.

Mary was preceded in death by a brother; Thomas Amos Scharet Jr., a sister; Susan Stewart, and a nephew; Anthony Pries.

Survivors include her mother; Eileen "Bonnie" Wass of Warsaw, her two sons; Brandon (Christine) Brown of Perry, Shannon (Jean) Brown of Dansville, her former husband and father of her children; Norman (Liza) Brown of Perry, her grandchildren; Tyler Michael, Mackensie Renee, Brooklynn Elizabeth Brown all of Dansville, Audrey Grace Brown of Perry, Amanda and Bonnie Prashaw of Dansville. 2 sisters; Lisa (Ken) Howe, and Joanne (Bill) Pries both of Perry, a brother; Russel (Terry) Scharet of Warsaw, a brother in-law Walt Stewart of Warsaw and several nieces and nephews.

Friends of Mary Scharet may call on Friday, August 6 th 2021 from 10am to 12pm at the Weeks Funeral Home 123 N. Main Street Warsaw. Funeral services will follow the calling at 12pm conducted by the Reverend Ann Robinson of Warsaw's First United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the Warsaw Cemetery beside her parents.
