Pavilion-
Mary E. Page, age 95 of Big Tree Rd. Pavilion, passed away Saturday, December 17th, 2016 at the Wyoming County Skilled Nursing Facility in Warsaw. She was born in Warsaw, July 8th, 1921, daughter of the late John and Mabel Brown Herman. A lifetime resident of Wyoming County and a 1940 graduate of Wyoming Central School, Mary worked for Haxton Foods in Wyoming for 15 years as well as in the Pavilion Central School cafeteria for 11 years. She was a member of the Covington United Presbyterian Church, Peoria Pedro Club, the Young at Heart Club in Pavilion and the Community Club. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, playing cards, embroidery, cooking and was especially known for her sweet rolls. She was predeceased by her first husband, Maurice J. McIlroy in 1977; her second husband, Harland E. Page in 2013; 5 brothers, Jack, George, Fred, Chester and Raymond Herman; and 2 sisters, Bernice McNair and Helen Fuest. Survivors include 2 sons, James M. McIlroy of Pavilion and Joe A. (Patti) McIlroy of Piffard; Harland's children, 2 daughters, Elaine Page of Batavia and Carol (Gary) Freeman of Pavilion and their extended families; a son, Randy (Linda) Page of Batavia; a sister, Mabel Orman of Oswego; a brother, Paul (Esther) Herman of Perry; 3 grandchildren, Jill (Gary) Beagle of Warsaw, Lynn Burton of Pavilion, and Andy (Michele) McIlroy of Pavilion; 5 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Friends of Mary may call from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm, Wednesday, December 21st, 2016 at the Weeks Funeral Home 123 N. Main St. Warsaw. A funeral service will be held 10:30am Thursday, December 22nd, 2016 at the Covington United Presbyterian Church 1701 Craig Rd, Pavilion, NY 14525. Burial will be private in the Mt. Ash Cemetery, Covington. Memorial contributions may be made to the Covington United Presbyterian Church at 1701 Craig Rd, Pavilion, NY 14525.
