Mary Ann Bick, age 71, died suddenly, Tuesday, April 8th 2008 at the Wyoming County Community Hospital in Warsaw.
She was born in Lackawana,NY November 8th 1936 the daughter of the late William E. and Margaret (Engasser) Patterson. Mary Ann was a 1954 graduate of Blasdell High School and attended Bryant and Stratton for two years. She moved to Wyoming County after school and worked as the NYS Department of Motor Vehicles Deputy Clerk in Warsaw for over 35 years before retiring in 2005. Mary Ann was a member of St. Joseph's Church in Varysburg and enjoyed being with her family. She enjoyed reading was known as the family caregiver.
She is preceded in death by her husband John E. Bick Sr. who passed away on July 21st 1978.
She is survived by three Sons; John (Sandy) Bick of Warsaw, David Bick of Varysburg, William (Lynette Nicastro) Bick of Varysburg, two Daughters; Michele (Lawrence) Moroz of Varysburg, Linda (Michael) Walker of North Java, two Brothers; James (Connie) Patterson of Newark, NY, Thomas (Lynn) Patterson of Hamburg. 1 Sister; Helen (Jimbo) Patterson of Key West, FL, 12 grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Friends of Mary Ann Bick may call from 2-4 and 7-9pm on Friday, April 11th at the Weeks Funeral Home 123 N. Main Street Warsaw. A mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am Saturday, April 12th at St. Joseph's Church in Varysburg with Father Dan Fiebelkorn celebrating.
Burial will follow the mass in the church cemetery.
