Marvis G. Luczak, age 92, of Silver Springs passed away Wednesday, January 10th, 2018 at the Buffalo General Hospital. She was born in Wethersfield, October 19th, 1925, daughter of the late George and Hazel Bauer Parmerter. A lifetime resident of Wyoming County, Marvis worked for Mallory Timers in Warsaw for over 30 years. She also worked at the Warsaw Button Factory, the Warsaw Knitting Mill, and at Curtiss-Wright in Buffalo during World War II. Marvis was a member of the Silver Springs United Methodist Church and enjoyed any activity that included her two beloved grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husbands, Elwin Ward and Alexander Luczak; 2 sisters, Thelma Kibler and Wilma Hurlburt; and 4 brothers, Kenneth, Wilson, Milburn, and Wesley Parmerter. Survivors include 2 sons, David Ward and Alex (Janinne) Luczak, both of Silver Springs; 2 grandchildren, Sarah (Cody Petre) Luczak and Adam (Katie Connolly) Luczak; a sister, Eleanora Laird of Warsaw; a brother, Kyle (Joan) Parmerter of Strykersville; a sisters-in-law, Shirley Parmerter of Florida, Marge Parmerter of Gainesville and Jenny Parmerter of Attica. Services for Marvis were conducted privately as per her wishes.
