Mark S. Falkner, age 58, of Rochester Road Lakeville, died Sunday, December 23rd 2012 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. Mark was born in Warsaw, February 1st 1954, the son of the late Howard and Laurel Pettigrew Falkner. A 1973 graduate of Letchworth Central School, Mark worked as a material handling specialist for Hilltop Industries in East Avon. Mark also worked part time in the kitchen at the Livonia Inn and as a Go-Kart repairman at Minnehan's in Lakeville. He enjoyed playing catcher for his church softball team, fishing, deer hunting, and traveling to visit family and friends. Mark was also a past member of the Gainesville Fire Department. He would do just about anything to help anyone as Mark was very generous of his time and he had a really big heart. Mark is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Barbara Orr Falkner whom he married on June 24th 1995, two brothers; Dennis (Teresa) Falkner and Kip (Tammy) Falkner both of Gainesville, a sister; Sharon (Lyndon) Bourgoyne Jr. of Jonesville, LA, a niece and five nephews also survive. Friends of Mark S. Falkner may call on Wednesday, December 26th from 2-4pm at the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church in Geneseo. Funeral services will follow the calling at 4:30pm with Pastors Chris Ortego and Don Ray as officiants. Burial will be private in the Union Park Cemetery, Wethersfield.
