Mark Alan "Burkey" Burkhardt, age 47, formerly of Quakertown Road, Orangeville, died suddenly Sunday, March 7th, 2010 at his home. Mark was born in Buffalo, October 17th, 1962, the son of the late Elmer C. and Dorothy Sheliga Burkhardt. He was a lifetime resident of Wyoming County and worked as a laboratory technician for Trico Wipers in Buffalo. A member of Wyoming County Veterans Club, Mark enjoyed reading in his spare time. To those who knew him, Mark was a calm, quiet man and a gentle soul. He is predeceased by 1 sister; Michele Hulbert. Survivors include 2 brothers; Alan (Mary) Burkhardt of New City, NY and Kenneth (Lorraine) Burkhardt of St. Joseph, IL. A graveside service and burial will take place in the Quakertown Cemetery, Tuesday, March 30th, 2010 with refreshments to follow at the Wyoming County Veterans Club.
