Marilyn J. Christ, age 80, of Old Buffalo Road, Warsaw, passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at the Wyoming County Skilled Nursing Facility. Marilyn was born in Warsaw, August 19, 1942 the daughter of the late Rex and Frances Case Johnson. She was a lifetime resident of Warsaw and 1959 graduate of Warsaw Central School. On May 14, 1960 she married her husband of nearly 63 years, Duane. For several years, Marilyn worked as a switchboard operator for Rochester Telephone before going on to start her family and run the family farm,"D&G Farms". She enjoyed reading Steven King and James Patterson novels as well as crocheting, a Sudoku puzzles. Marilyn was a terrific cook and baker known for her pies. She loved animals, especially her dogs and cows. Marilyn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and Gigi, who was very supportive of her family.

Marilyn is survived by her beloved husband of 62 years, Duane P. Christ of Warsaw,. Additional survivors include her daughter, Molly (Walt) Youngers of Attica, a son Steven (Bonnie) Christ of Warsaw, a granddaughter, Kim Blake of West Seneca, a great grandson, Trenton Martin also of West Seneca, several step grandchildren, cousins and many life long friends.
