Maria Kucharski, age 84 of Dick Rd. Warsaw, died peacefully, Wednesday, November 12th at The Cloisters in Warsaw. She was born Maria Poreba in Poland, on December 7th 1923 and moved to Buffalo in 1951 after marrying her late husband of 40 years, Wladyslav Kucharski. Since 1965 she has lived in Warsaw, NY as a homemaker. Maria enjoyed vegetable and flower gardening, cooking and embroidery. Her children and grandchildren were her life. Maria was predeceased by her husband on July 5th 1990. She is survived by 4 Sons; Matt (Mary Kay) Kucharski of Westminster, CO, Ted Kucharski of Redondo Beach, CA, Richard Kucharski of Canton, MI, Julian (Patricia) Kucharski of Watertown, NY, 2 Daughters; Christine Kucharski of Syracuse, and Margaret (Tim) Maiuri of Duxbury, Mass. 1Brother John Poreba, 6 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive. Friends of Maria Kucharski may call on Friday, November 14th from 7-9pm at the Weeks Funeral Home 123 N. Main St. Warsaw. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9am on Saturday, November 15th by Father Lawrence Damian at St. Michael's Church in Warsaw.
