Wethersfield-
Manford L. McKendry, age 81, of Shaw Rd., Wethersfield, passed away Thursday, February 23rd, 2012 at the Wyoming County Skilled Nursing Facility in Warsaw. He was born in Clayton, NY, April 12th, 1930, the son of the late William and Wilhemena Mathews McKendry. A long-time resident of Hamburg, NY, and graduate of Carthage High School, Manford worked for American Tobacco for 15 years and then as a driver for Trailways before retiring in 2010. He also served his country honorably with the United States Navy. Manford was predeceased by his wife, Virginia Henderson and a son, William McKendry. Survivors include a son, Robert (Eva) McKendry of Wethersfield; 2 daughters, Sharon McKendry of W. Seneca and Stephanie (Michael) Stewart of Hamburg; 2 sisters, Marilyn Mazurak and Betty Housel; 3 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family in the Lakeside Cemetery, Hamburg.
