Linda M. Waite, age 74, of Dutch Street Road, Mt. Morris passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. Linda was born in Warsaw, April 5, 1948, a daughter of the late Thurlow and Anna Harcleroad Goho. A 1966 graduate of Mt. Morris Central School, Linda worked for the Livingston County WIC Program and later as a substitute Teachers Aid at Mt. Morris Central for 25 years. She enjoyed reading, cooking and baking. Linda loved animals and spending time with her grandchildren.

Linda was preceded in death by her uncle Theodore Goho.

Survivors include her beloved husband of 47 years, James L. Waite, whom she married November 16, 1974. Additional survivors include a son; Keith Waite of Mt. Morris, five grandchildren; James, Isabella, Jemma, Luke Waite, and Cheyenne Seaver, a brother; Thurlow "Bugs" (Debbie) Goho of Mt. Morris, a niece; Heather Goho of Rochester, a nephew; John (Emily) Goho of Mt. Morris, her brother's In-Law, Jerry Waite of Wyoming, Dick (Beverly) Waite of South Warsaw, and Daniel Waite of Akron.

Friends of Linda Waite may call on Friday May 13, 2022 from 10amd to 12pm at the Weeks Funeral Home 123 N. Main Street Warsaw, NY 14569. Funeral services will follow the calling at 12pm with Pastor Winston Platt of Warsaw's First Baptist Church. Burial will take place privately for the family in the Mt. Morris Cemetery.
