Linda M. Sparks, age 66, of Rte. 19A passed away Monday, December 3 ^rd , 2018 at the Wyoming County Community Hospital. She was born in Warsaw, May 18 ^th , 1952, daughter of the late Oscar Rider and Shirley Mummery Rider of Bliss. A resident of Wyoming County for the past 18 years, and a 1971 graduate of Letchworth Central School, Linda worked on the line at Prestolite for 20 years from where she retired in 2016. She also did line work for Champion, Archway, Hanes, and Motorola. Linda enjoyed flower gardening, reading, anything outdoors, fishing, cooking, baking, trips to the casino, and spending time with her grandchildren and family on her back deck. She was predeceased by a brother, Gary Holmes. Survivors include 2 daughters, Pauleen (Clair) Sherman of Short Tract and Janice (Richard) Hirschman of Albion; 3 brothers, Larry (Linda) Holmes of Warsaw, Dennis (Dale) Holmes of Castile; and Douglas (Melody) Holmes of Bliss; and 6 grandchildren, Cody, Dakota, and Dylan Sherman of Short Tract and Brendon Kasprzyk, Riley and Owen Hirschman of Albion. A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family in Curriers Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in Linda's name to the donor's charity of choice.
